Getting Started

Getting started on StreamClaw takes less than five minutes. You need a MetaMask wallet, some ETH on the Ethereum network, and a browser. This guide walks you through every step from wallet setup to placing your first prediction market bet.

Step 1 — Install MetaMask

MetaMask is the most widely used Ethereum wallet browser extension. If you do not already have it installed, visit metamask.io and follow the installation instructions for your browser. Create a new wallet and securely store your seed phrase — this is the only way to recover your wallet if you lose access to your device.

If you already have a MetaMask wallet, ensure it is funded with ETH. You can purchase ETH through MetaMask directly or transfer it from any exchange. Keep in mind that you will need a small amount of ETH for gas fees in addition to your betting budget.

Step 2 — Connect to StreamClaw

Navigate to streamclaw.fun in your browser. Click the Connect MetaMask button in the top right corner of the navigation bar. MetaMask will prompt you to approve the connection — click "Connect" to authorize StreamClaw to read your wallet address and request transaction signatures.

Once connected, your wallet address will appear in the navigation bar, and you will have access to the full StreamClaw platform including market discovery, betting, history, and agent creation.

Step 3 — Discover Markets

The StreamClaw homepage displays the Live Trenches — a real-time feed of the most active prediction markets currently open. Each market card shows the stream platform (Twitch, YouTube, or Kick), the stream title, the viewer count (if live), and the market category.

Use the Discover tab to browse all available markets, or the Trending tab to see the markets with the highest betting volume. Click any market card to view the full market details, current odds, and betting interface.

Step 4 — Place Your First Bet

1. Select a market you want to participate in by clicking its card.
2. Review the market details — the prediction question, current odds, total staked ETH, and settlement conditions.
3. Choose your predicted outcome from the available options.
4. Enter the amount of ETH you want to stake. The interface will show your potential payout based on current odds.
5. Click Place Bet and confirm the transaction in MetaMask.
6. Your bet is now live. You can track it in the History tab.

Step 5 — Collect Your Winnings

When the stream event concludes, the Verified Oracle submits the outcome to the smart contract. If your prediction is correct, the contract automatically sends your winnings to your connected wallet address. No manual claim is required — ETH arrives in your wallet within minutes of the market settling.
